After attending the culinary program at Horry Georgetown Technical College, Jade Cahoon opened a small bakery/café in Little River, SC called Bakery Boutique. There, she fell in love with creating and decorating special occasion cakes and cupcakes for weddings, birthdays, showers and even the simple "Girl's Night."
She unfortunately had to close its doors due to complications with her pregnancy. Luckily, everything turned out to be fine and she is now the proud mom of a healthy and beautiful baby boy. There is nothing more rewarding than becoming a mom and she has been blessed to find the best of both worlds! Sweet Street Designer Cakes and Cupcakes use only the best quality and freshest ingredients found in our area.
Many of her recipes were taught to her by her great-grandmother and she still does them in the same old fashion way! By using real butter, fresh whole milk and cream, ripe fruit and pure extracts, she has set the bar on flavor. Jade is a perfectionist and it shows in her work. From simple pearls to intricate lace designs, each cake is personalized just for the client and their event.
Sweet Street's creations truly are homemade with a gourmet flair! Her designs are the furthest thing from "old fashioned," though! Fondant bows, royal icing piping, sugared fruit and fun decorations, like cupcake wrappers, adorn each creation! Place your order today and blow your guests away!
