Karma Lounge provides a unique atmosphere not available anywhere else in Austin. Located two blocks away from the world famous 6th Street Scene, Karma escapes the frenzied and crowded atmosphere of most destinations, while still retaining the energy and excitement for which the area is known. Providing a truly enjoyable experience with plenty of seating, Karma has a style all its own that has to be seen to be believed. From the soft, relaxing tones of the Shag Room to the positive enlightenment of the Candle Room, Karma is an experience to remember.
The entire lounge/ venue has a 350 person capacity. Depending on the size of your event, you have the option to rent out entire venue or just the individual private rooms.
We have 3 separate private rooms to offer: 1) A red VIP room that holds up to 75 people and is equipped with its own personal bar, plus two separate seating areas.
2) A Shag carpet room that is enclosed and can hold 25 - 30 people and has separate music from the main lounge. It is great for bachelorette and bachelor parties and karaoke or your own personal DJ. It can also be used as a bottle service area for those large events that enjoy an open bar.
3) The Candle room is attached to the main bar and has its own private bartender. This room holds about 35 - 40 people and is the most popular room. It is also a great place for food setup for the larger events.
The main lounge/ area holds 200 people and has seating for 60 - 75 of the 200. The lounge area has a bar, stage, DJ booth and dance floor. The dance floor can also be used for more seating if chairs are brought in. This area is equipped with 2 projectors and 2 screens and has the ability to connect to a laptop.
