Specializing in our signature fresh squeezed lime margarita "El Agave," flavored frozen margaritas, and spicy Mexican- Southwest fusion fare, our roomy restaurant is a great destination for those who want to view a live music show or check out some interesting applications of chili pepper cuisine.
In addition to the fajitas and enchilada dishes, our extensive menu offers hearty steak, chicken, shrimp, and pasta dishes, treated with combinations of Southwestern and interior- Mexican spices, and served with a variety of fresh and cooked salsas.
A unique space for your special event! The Agave Room is the bar portion of the restaurant which includes our special open tapas grill. It is completely separate from the main dining area. This provides you & your guests with privacy, but still maintains the ambience of the Iron Cactus. This room accommodates 25- 90 guests seated or up to 120 guests for cocktail style functions. Dedicated staff is included.
Enjoy the Riverwalk up close! Our Patio is located right on the river. This area can be semi- private or private. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Riverwalk on this open- air patio! A very casual scene with loads of San Antonio style. Accommodations for up to approximately 110 guests are available.
Our upper dining area is a casual setting perfect for smaller events. This area is semi- private and accommodates up to 46 guests seated. A cocktail server is included for the convenience of your guests.
The Entire Restaurant:
Host an entirely private event with accommodations for up to 500 guests! Nothing beats the atmosphere of the Riverwalk. Be creative and theme each area for a spectacular night of food, entertainment and drink.
