The Queen Anne House, built 1901, takes its name from the Victorian style of architecture used in its construction. The house has a beautiful turret (domed portion of the house) with curved glass windows, wrap around porch & many gables accented with fish scale siding.
Restored in 1981, the house has been taken back to its original floor plan. The Queen Anne House specializes in small, intimate weddings & receptions for up to 50 persons.
This is the perfect venue for a couple who desire to create a memorable experience for their dearest friends & family in an unique setting.
Located in the quaint historic town of Kaufman, Texas, just 30 miles southeast of downtown Dallas, this elegant Victorian home is easily accessible to the couple and their guests.
Added romance can be achieved with a horse drawn carriage for the bride and groom. Also available is a pianist to play the baby grand piano during the wedding, reception or both.
Staff at The Queen Anne House make a concerted effort to ensure that couples enjoy every aspect of their wedding.
The Queen Anne House has received approximately 58 profile views in the last three months.
The Queen Anne House is one of 407 wedding sites, locations and event venues in Texas and among 6,153 wedding sites, locations and event venues listed nationwide on GatheringGuide.com.
