Classy, sexy, and energetic best describes my band.
I do blues from the 20s and 30s in the tradition of Bessie Smith, Ma Rainey, and the like. Not Texas blues, not traditional jazz. I am a bar singer as opposed to a traditionally trained jazz vocalist. That means that I play jazz that you can dance and drink whiskey to. It's okay to jump up and holler at my shows. My shows are fun and classy and are well- received in upscale venues.
