Mélange Catering began in 1987 as a two-woman team and has since grown into one of Houston's premiere full-service catering and special event companies for both corporate and social events. Mélange has earned an excellent reputation, in Houston and beyond, for producing & catering events for corporations, large and small, local charities and private clients. We are a preferred special events caterer for the Houston Museum of Natural Science, the Czech Cultural Center, River Oaks Garden Club, Gremillion Art Gallery and a host of other outstanding venues.
These years of experience, along with our knowledgeable and creative staff, add up to successful and unique events. Mélange produces everything from office lunches to elaborate weddings, intimate house parties and exquisite galas. Our professional staff gives equally detailed attention to each event whether it's box lunches for ten or a formal seated dinner for 1000.
Mélange's years of experience and dedication to the industry are apparent in the memberships that we hold, including: the International Caterers Association (ICA), the National Association of Catering Executives (NACE), International Special Events Society (ISES), and the Women's Business Enterprise Alliance (WBEA). Linda West, the president of Mélange, has also been recognized as one of Houston's top 20 "Women on the Move".
