The Cox Digital Theater seats 125 people in bleacher-style chairs, to tie in with the museum's theme. It features a 16-foot high definition screen, on which we can play DVD, VHS, cable TV, PowerPoint, XBox, internet, and more. The theater has a small stage, on which a podium sits. The sound system can be adjusted to either surround-sound or PA settings, depending on the type of presentation given. Lighting can also be customized. Food and beverage are allowed in this room.

Theater rental is available both during the day (for $175 an hour) and in the evening (for $225 an hour). This price does not include admission to the museum.

First come, first served. For daytime events, we must book well in advance, as the theater is normally used to show our Hall of Fame informational film.

The theater's size is 35 by 45 feet. Seats are arranged into 9 rows, with the last row allowing access for up to 4 wheelchairs. Two slightly sloped aisles flank the seats. The stage is three stair-steps above the audience. The projection room sits in back of the theater. |

The theater is located on the first floor of the building, and is accessible through double doors at the rear and a single door leading onto the stage at stage right. |

Velvet curtains cover the screen for lectures or presentations during which no visuals are needed. All display, lighting, and audio can be controlled with one programmable remote. |
