Chester is an elegant and gracious Southern inn located in a historic home with beautiful porches, well-manicured arboretum grounds and gardens, and luxurious guest rooms. Chester is the ideal place for weekend getaways, reunions and gatherings, small meetings and retreats, and weddings.
Wedding ceremonies are held outdoors underneath a majestic 350-year-old oak tree or in the circular rose garden. Receptions are held underneath white peaked tents with starlights, and range from small, intimate gatherings to large, formal black-tie events. Rehearsal dinners can also be held at Chester. Chester provides wedding planning services, and its owners have over 25 years of event planning experience.
The inn can accommodate up to 16 overnight guests, and includes a bridal suite in an adjacent cottage. All rooms have private baths and wood burning fireplaces. Full gourmet breakfasts are included with each room. Gourmet wine dinners can be arranged with advance notice.
