Chefs David & Stacy Gedney (both formerly of the Ashby Inn and the Inn at Little Washington) offer their gourmet food for your event. We work with each client one- on- one to design the menu that suits your function, desires, and budget. From large outdoor weddings, to small private parties, to professional corporate events, J's Gourmet caters to you and your guests.
In addition to our catering services, we also have two restaurants and a wine shop located in Front Royal, VA.
Apartment 2g
Apartment 2g, located on the second floor of the building, the restaurant is populated by small dining rooms, reminiscent of their former life as apartments, each with its own TV. With a camera in the kitchen, guests enjoy watching the Chefs prepare their meal. Menus include Spanish-inspired Tapas on Thursdays, and a 5-course Prix Fixe on Fridays and Saturdays.
Element (Sandwiches & Salads for lunch; Bar & Bistro for dinner)
The endless creativity of Chefs David & Stacy Gedney of Apartment 2g produced Element, a delicious dishes enveloped by a comfortable and modern atmosphere. Sandwiches, salads, and soups brand the lunch menu (served 11-3pm Monday-Saturday), with an ever-changing Bistro menu for dinner (5-9pm Tuesday-Saturday). Element also includes a full bar, with four beers on tap, and an extensive wine list.
Placed in the northwest corner of the building, J's Gourmet opens the cellar (10-6pm Monday-Friday, 10-5pm Saturday). Fueled by the restaurants next door (Element) and above (Apartment 2g), Chefs David and Stacy Gedney offer wines and cheeses from around the world and nearby, in all price ranges.
