Prospect Hill Plantation Inn & Restaurant is an authentic 1732 plantation with lodgings in the 1732 manor house in former dependencies and slave quarters dating from 1699 to 1850. The Sheehan family began the renovation more than 30 years ago in 1977 and have since received many awards for excellence for their personalized service and fine dining.
Appealing to romantics of all ages, Prospect Hill offers 13 rooms and suites for lodging, two dining rooms for up to 25 and 50 guests, a formal paneled meeting room in the 1840 Summer Dining Room, outdoor receptions in the Arboratum Garden, an outdoor swimming pool and shade pavilion, and almost 50 acres of manicured grounds, pastures, and woods to explore.
Weddings are special at Prospect Hill whether a couple or up to 250 guests under a beautiful white tent in the Arboratum grounds with the ceremony under the Wedding Pavilion and reception immediately following. Prospect Hill's reputation is for the very finest dining whether by candlelight in the dining room or a large buffet spread under a white tent outdoors.
