Our 1912 summer home is steeped in tradition dating back to 1933. We are the oldest licensed restaurant in New York State. While much of the building has been upgraded and added onto throughout the years, the centerpiece is still the large stone fireplace surrounded by the original wood floor in the main dining room.
There are three rooms on the main floor which seat 275 comfortably and another on the second floor which seats 50 guests of its own. Oh, and that’s only the inside.
Outside there is a beautiful deck and Paddy ’O which seat another 200 guests and a flagstone terrace slated to be constructed in early 2005 to seat another 200 guests. Each and every dining space overlooks the Chemung Valley, the City of Elmira, and the foothills of Pennsylvania.
Many of our brides and grooms choose to get married here right on site surrounded by our beautiful gardens and landscaped grounds. The rod- ironed, vine covered arbor is the perfect entrance into both the ceremony and reception.
