Great food & a charming atmosphere, Madison's is the most enchanting ballroom in the City of Oakland. The view is panoramic. It encompasses the blue- green of Lake Merritt and the lush Oakland hills. A special treat for evening events is the Necklace of Lights, which is a chain of lights on ornate Victorian light poles that surround the entire lake.
Madison's is available for rent for private parties on Saturday's only. The room charge for an event is $1,500.00 per event, which serves as a non-refundable deposit to secure your date. We provide all catered food and beverages. The cuisine is upscale American and is moderately priced. A variety of menus are available, or chef will gladly create a menu to suit your needs. Banquet menu prices range from $45.00 and up per person. Please note that these prices do not include tax or gratuity.
The décor includes plush axminster carpeting, the design of which was inspired by a vintage fabric containing both a geometric pattern and exotic flowers in chestnut, gold, red and green; walls painted in a rich terra cotta color; wrought- iron chandeliers; overstuffed Art Deco furniture covered in jewel tone mohair fabric; and Lloyd Loom wicker chairs and cocktail tables.
