Fry's Spring Beach Club was established in 1921. The heart of its charming Clubhouse is the historic ballroom, which originally was an outdoor dance pavilion in the late 1800's. The center piece of the room is it's spring dance floor, which is surrounded by booths that can seat approximately 130 people. Additional seating is gained by setting up tables on the back sections of the dance floor. The ballroom has a stage for both presentation and performance as well as a room to its side for banquet and bar service.
In addition to the Ballroom the Clubhouse offers a more intimate space called the Garden Terrace and Bar. This room looks out over the 50 meter pool and sloping grounds shaded by 80 year old Oak trees.
The Club is convenient to downtown and the University as well as all major roads into and out of Charlottesville. Its private lot has parking for up to 160 vehicles.
