The Lambert's Cove Country Inn is known as one of the most romantic retreats on Martha's Vineyard. Situated on 7-1/2 acres of spacious lawns, gardens, forest and meadowlands in the pastoral town of West Tisbury, it offers year-round tranquility and seclusion. As you follow the winding road, shaded by towering trees, that leads to the inn, you'll know when you arrive, that you have indeed found a very special place.
The inn dates back to 1790 and was originally a farmhouse. As you enter the front door and hallway, to your left you'll see our elegant country dining room with its hardwood floors and fireplace. To your right you'll note the lovely parlor with its pastel blue furnishings. Straight ahead and to the right lies the spacious library with fireplace at one end and French doors opening out onto the expansive outdoor deck at the other. Upstairs, beautifully decorated guest rooms are found. Outside, picturesque grounds and gardens await you with an apple orchard and vine-covered stone walls. A walk through our gardens brings you to additional rooms in our renovated barn and carriage house.
