Based in Bonaire, GA, 138 Records provides live music generally for an 18+ crowd, though we are always willing to provide clean entertainment for all ages crowds. Lance Rodriguez and Fat Pat founded 138 Records in 2006 as a home for bands we recorded and played with. Since then we have recorded albums, demos, and singles for quite a few local artists.
We work with venues, our own bands, and many other southeastern bands to plan, book, & promote local shows, events, and benefits, as well as traveling with our own bands.
From November 2009- April 2010 we ran sound, booked bands, did internet and print promotion, handled door, security, and all band business for 550 Blues in Macon, GA.
Since April 2010 we have been working with Bouchez Bar & Grill in Centerville, GA, on weekly open mic nights and live music Fridays.
Our live acts consist of these local/ regional bands:
-Southern Psykology (hip hop)
-SoPsyke (thrash/metal)
-Holocaustion (grind/thrash)
-Narcopium (industrial metal)
-Jrunk Drawer (acoustic 80's, 90's)
-The Quantum Penetrators (country/bluegrass, comedy)
-Tooley Deviljuice (acoustic country/folk)
And we have recorded these albums/EPs:
-Dublin - self titled (2006)
-Powersville - Demolution EP (2008)
-Rough Nate and the Quantum Penetrators - "If That Ain't Space Country, I'll Kiss Your Third Boob" (2009)
-Southern Psykology - "Beer & Loathing in Warner Vegas" (EP & album, spanning 2008 - 2009)
-Dem Boiz Macon Noiz - "Dozey Dose" single (2010)
-Elijah James - "Country Screw Up" (2010)
-Holocaustion - demo (2009)

For full bands - preferably we work for the door, and provide our own doorman. We will negotiate with flat rates if you prefer an event with no cover charge. First time's free if the second time's guaranteed. |
