Whether you need for a small breakfast meeting or a wedding reception for 500, the Altoona Hy-Vee can cater your event. We have food for every occasion, and the prices are incomparable to other caterers. We have full meals for as low as $5 a person, and have a broad variety of menu items.
We have eight departments that can help with your catering: Produce, Salad Bar, Kitchen, Chinese, Italian, Delicatessan, Seafood/Meat and Floral.
You have the convenience of ordering online, over the phone or in the store with our catering coordinator Kelly Crosby, who will put everything together for you.
We will provide labor, free of charge for up to 2 hours on buffet meals. After 2 hours a $25/hr fee per server will apply. Labor includes set-up of the original food tables, maintaining food levels, serving food to guests and tear-down if desired. There are no hidden charges for labor, delivery, mileage, chaffing dishes or gratuities. Your chaffing dishes are included with your food, there is only one $7 delivery fee for anywhere in the metro, and we do not accept gratuity.
We are able to rent linens are china for your event and can decorate the buffet as well. We do not provide: tables, chairs, garbage cans, water pitchers or bartenders. We may deliver alcohol to your event, but are not licensed to dispense or serve it.

We are available 24 hours a day other than Christmas. We close at 2 pm on Thanksgiving and 5 pm on Christmas Eve. |
