ARTISANworks supports and enriches the local creative economy by celebrating the legacy of scholars, visual, and performing artists. Our 60,000 square-foot exhibition space features historical and artistic tribute rooms with a strong focus on regional history and talent. Proceeds collected from admission, memberships, events, and sponsorships directly fund community based outreach programs.
The organization is devoted to honoring those who work and reside in upstate New York by providing exhibition and performance space as well as public art and academic events. The organization facilitates weekly art educational workshops and tours for businesses, hospitals, local schools, and other community organizations. ARTISANworks provides local musicians, actors, and dancers with performance space and hosts public lectures presented by international scholars. Additionally, the organization awards monthly stipends to resident artists and artists throughout the country.
