Ballroom Blitz perform a full blown rock n' roll concert spectacle of all the best tunes of your favorite 70's bands.
Everyone loves the sounds of the 70's, and their show is a four-hour Vegas-style tour de force of sound and energy. You probably know all of the tunes- all the best of the super rocking 70's - we're talking Bowie, Queen, The Stones, KISS, Blondie, Rod Stewart, Sweet, Elton John, T-Rex, Iggy Pop, The Ramones, and more more more! And this ain't no lounge band-we're talking a full blown rock show with costumes, make up- the whole package.
An evening of high octane Rock n'Roll/Glam/Punk, performed as close to the originals as possible; and although it is a total blast to watch the boys in leaping and rocking about the room (not just the stage- Billy runs throughout the crowd and everyone gets a chance to sing along!)- there are times when you won't mind closing your eyes just to be blown away by how close it sounds just like Bowie circa '73 or Blondie circa '78. It's THAT good!
Billy Miles Brooke is a vocal chameleon, and the boys in the band have worked out the sounds and the chops to bring you right back to The Hammersmith Odeon, CBGB's and Winterland all in one night. It must be seen to be believed. A mind-blowing, sing along, bop 'til you drop evening is guaranteed for all!
