Michael-David Winery added this astonishing property to their portfolio in 2007 and after more than a year and a half of renovations, The Phillips Family has created the perfect location to host your special event or wedding of your dreams.
Bare Ranch is the answer to your search for an elegant venue that provides you with quiet beauty in a picturesque setting. The walking tour includes an arching wooden railroad-tie bridge which crosses over small Koi ponds and a beautiful rod-iron gate to distinguish this very special and historic property.
The grounds boast an expansive lawn that is the perfect venue for your event and is surrounded by a stunning stonewall with grapevines peaking above. A wandering stream, waterfall, and botanical garden provide a gorgeous venue for your guests, as well as a spectacular setting for photographs. The adjoining pool and garden area provide a lovely background
ambience while in the evening, the pool fountains erupt, providing a lovely finishing touch.
Bare Ranch is exclusively yours for the day and allows you to create the event you envisioned by selecting from various locations to say your vows and entertain your guests.
The beautifully landscaped property is surrounded by 180 acres of vineyard and provides the perfect atmosphere that mixes history with beauty. An Arts & Crafts (Craftsman) style home built in 1903 sits on the grounds and is used by the Phillips Family for personal events. The home is currently unavailable for special events. Rancho del Oso (Bare Ranch in Spanish) was an operating winery until the early 1950's and most of the original buildings remain on the property today.
