Featuring banjo, twin fiddles, and bass, the Blue Sage Band is a high energy acoustic ensemble specializing in bluegrass, folk, and cowboy / western music.
We have configurations of the band ranging from a full six piece bluegrass band down to a solo performance by band leader, Mike Iverson.

The music of Blue Sage appeals to all age groups.
Blue Sage performances can feature a wide variety of styles: folk, bluegrass, old time fiddle / banjo tunes, and / or western music. We are very easy on the ears and can customize our material (and look) to fit the venue.
We can host a "barn dance" (old time contra dance) and have a number of callers available who work well with folks who otherwise might consider themselves "non - dancers".
We usually perform as a vocal driven band but can provide strictly instrumental music if required.
We pride ourselves in being personable and adaptable and we always try to accommodate the wishes of those who have hired us.
We always dress appropriately. Our costuming is usually "contemporary western" but changes if the presenter wants another theme (nice casual, 1800s dress, etc).
We can provide our own professional quality sound reinforcement (which you are welcome to use for announcements).
