Cindy Brown is an international award-winning photojournalist with more than 25 years experience. She has worked at major newspapers like the St. Petersburg Times and the Indianapolis Star. Her list of international awards includes Pictures of the Year International, the Southern Short Course, Wedding Photojournalist Association, the Atlanta Photojournalism Seminar and the Women in Photojournalism Conference.
As an award winning photojournalist, her engaging people skills were honed while she was professor of photojournalism at the University of Southern Mississippi (Hattiesburg), Florida Southern (Lakeland) and St.-Mary-of the-Woods College (Indiana).
Now, with her Masters of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Cindy uses her life experiences to deliver the fine art of storytelling. She also leads workshops exploring the intersection of photography and spirituality.
