A wedding is a joyous and sacred occasion, a celebration of two lives, two individuals, joining together as one. Each ceremony is carefully crafted with input from the couple, to create a unique and memorable centerpiece for your wedding day.
Your friends and family members will remember the special vows and blessings which unite two people whom they care so deeply about. The ceremony is a reflection of each of you, as individuals and of the special love that you share. Cantor Braunstein spends several hours meeting with you both and getting to know you, then she carefully crafts ceremony, which may be as traditionally Jewish or modern as you both desire. The desire is to accommodate both families and allow them to feel included in the wedding rituals.
We will discuss, in depth, the type of ceremony you have dreamed of having and include your favorite songs and writings or the words of your family and friends, who are welcome to participate in this very special moment.
At our meetings, we will go through all of the details of the service and what will need to be provided...the Chuppah, Kiddush cup, Candle Sticks, glass (or light bulb!) for breaking at the conclusion of the ceremony, etc.
Cantor Braunstein will chant the traditional B'rachot, wedding blessings, Kiddush, etc. and can, if you like, provide an explanation of each ritual during the ceremony. We can include the badecken and will have a Ketubah signing, prior to the ceremony.
I will ask each of you to privately write what it is that you cherish about your betrothed and why you are choosing to share your life with this person.
I am able to assist you with choosing a Ketubah, if you so desire one and will answer any questions you may have regarding Jewish wedding rituals.
