Photographer Scott Nava has a MFA in Photography from Columbia College Chicago combined with over 12 years experience behind the lens including film and digital. Scott’s documentary work has been published nationally and internationally including "Las Nosotras: Portraits of Latinas," "The North: Single Room Occupancy," an Emmy award winning series entitled “Chicago Matters: Inside the Pilsen Community” and a documentary film about the internationally- acclaimed sculptor, Virginio Ferrari, entitled “Full Circle.” His background in fine arts, architectural and product photography compliments and enhances his wedding photography.
Photography Coordinator Cara Nava has over 8 years of client service experience and has been assisting Scott with weddings for over 4 years. Skilled in event planning and digital photography, Cara focuses on the day’s timeline and offering creative input whether she’s photographing a subtle detail or informing Scott of photo opportunities in another location.
By taking the time to get to know the couple and their personalities before the wedding day and scouting out photo opportunities for unique portraits, we are able to capture the subtle details, and overall feel of your wedding day in a pictorial story. Our contemporary 13x11 hardcover coffee table books included in every package highlight the emotion of your wedding day.
