The historic Cash & Carry building is a recently restored warehouse. Built in 1936, it was originally conceived by Dunn & Quinn, two well known architects who designed nearly 2,000 structures including schools, banks, churches, and public facilities. The building was closed in 1992.
The Cash & Carry building is an impressive, 9,600 square feet and boasts a clerestory, originally for both light and ventilation. During its restoration, the building was limited to walls and rafters to intensify the warehouse appeal. Brick walls and exposed beams, combined with drop lights and vintage - inspired fans enhance the period feeling of the space.
This multipurpose building has hosted Bluegrass concerts, weddings, reunions, dinners, and corporate functions, just to name a few. Over 70 years after its completion, the Cash & Carry building proudly exudes charm and hospitality.
