During my wedding planning, I wanted to make sure that I would get the best photographer possible, so I searched high and low. Prior to booking Cassie, I asked questions about having a 2nd photographer because it would mean more pictures. it doesn't hurt
to look for quantity, but she gave me the whole spiel about quantity vs quality, if the option is there for quantity, I would take it, but in this situation it didn't turn out as promising. She gave me an option of getting a "2nd photographer" which means
800-1000 photos. So of course that sold me and plus I would get other angles which is another plus (or so I thought). Lo and behold when I did receive the pictures, there were only 300 photos. She advertised something and under-delivered and she just wanted
to make a sale off of me. The other bad part was, this so called 2nd photographer, wasn't even a photographer. Even all of my wedding party and friends told me they didn't even see her lift up a finger and I had noticed that too. There weren't many pictures
provided from that second person, only 2-3 shots. I know because the photos taken by the second person came out with smudged glares on the lens you could see it in her portfolio, creating iphone-like images, you could just tell a novice took it. However, Cassie
Rosch did capture that second girl's true essence at my wedding of her sitting in a seat doing nothing, perhaps was the reason why 800-1000 pictures weren't delivered. I also had a very small count of guests and she did not even shoot them at their tables
or elsewhere, it was a really small intimate wedding, so I don't see how that could've not been done especially with TWO photographers. Those guests were dear guests and not even a single decent picture of them! I emailed her back about this issue and at first
she said "There aren't any remaining photos" but after my next email, she said she has them backed up and would comb through them again. I would email her here and there and she would make excuses as if I am an inconvenience saying that she has other people
to work on. I did pay for the service, like 4 months ago. So why am I being shoved aside? Isn't it first come, first served? I really do feel that after she got all the money that I was pretty much invaluable. To sum it all up, she over-promises and under-delivers.
Do I regret hiring her? Very much, along with an unprofessional attitude in her emails. I'd say keep looking if you want a photographer who can keep their words, not only that but have them written, you won't find what you're looking for with Cassie, at least
I didn't.. her advertisement that she's friendly and likes to make friends with her clients is a bunch of bull, I didn't feel that from her at all from the engagement photo shoot and on. I just regret that someone like this partook in such a special day like
this of mine and left it a bad taste on that part. Nobody should have to deal with this. Had I known she would of turned out like this, yes, I would back out even if I lost the deposit and it was a big chunk of deposit. She also requested for a shot-list and
she didn't even do most of them. Why request for it and then not shoot it? She also said that with each black and white photo, comes with a colored one. No it does not. She would say that it's there somewhere scattered in the CD, but it is not. Therefore,
all of this came down to her refusal to give me more pictures, pictures that are our memories, pictures that I paid for but never received the remainder. I got scammed and cheated, pretty much ripped off.
