The Center for Puppetry Arts is the largest U.S. nonprofit organization dedicated to puppetry. In addition to its museum programming, the Center presents new works and original adaptations by its own company and by guest artists from around the world in one performance series for children and family audiences and one series for teen and adult audiences. The Center also offers hands-on workshops for both children and adults on-site.
The Love Family Atrium is a beautiful space to hold a cocktail reception. It is 2,100 sq. feet and currently houses a Museum exhibit. It holds a max of 75 standing/20 seated for $750/8 hours. Harlequin Hall is a vibrant room downstairs that can be used for meetings, receptions, or smaller events. This 1,700 sq. foot area holds up to about 125 standing/80 seated and costs $750/8 hours. Also available is the conference room, which holds up to 40 standing/25 seated at $125/hour.
If you are interested in hosting meetings or events where a stage and theater seating are needed, our Downstairs and Main Stage Theaters are available upon request. The Downstairs Theater seats up to 170 people, and the Main Stage Theater seats up to 350. Please inquire for details and pricing.
Our Create-A-Puppet Workshops are not just for kids! Special workshops can be added to your next employee outing or retreat as a fun activity.
The Center for Puppetry Arts is a fun, unique venue that can be found in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. There is ample free parking, and it is easily accessible from the MARTA Arts Center Station.
