The site is lovely and the wedding buffet was far beyond what we expected. The ceremony site is right next to a public/private beach and my daughter walked from the dock past lots of boaters and sunbathers, which could have been distracting, but was actually
lots of fun when everyone cheered as she and the wedding party passed by. The reception venue is only partly enclosed so unless you're having a very small wedding, expect to deal with nature. We lucked out with a beautiful sunny day and warm evening. Our only
problem was with the management. Rick is quite the salesman so be careful you understand your contract carefully. Ours stated that we had the entire venue all day to decorate, but that suddenly changed when we were told that lunch had to be served to the public.
We were also told we would have a full-time wedding coordinator which we barely saw. Our DJ and photographer ended up coordinating the reception. I wish I could give this review a 5-star, but the difficulties we had with the management created a lot of disruption
in what should have been a perfect day.
