On December 19th, 2010, Chuck Adkins married Vicky Vaughan. These two internationally known and respected recording / performing artists then combined their musical talents and years of experience as entertainers to form "Cool Breeze."
With a refreshingly clean sound that spans a variety of genres and eras, Chuck and Vicky delight audiences with their easy - listening style and talent in every setting.
Chuck Adkins, an accomplished musician who arranges and performs the music for Cool Breeze, spent seven years in Nashville, Tennessee, and at the Marco Polo Hotel on Miami Beach with a number of other great musical talents including Jose Feliciano and Fabian. While he embraces and exquisitely performs many genres, there is a distinct and refreshing flavor of jazz woven beautifully throughout his music. Chuck plays piano, keyboards, flute, trombone, and also sings. He has ten cds to his credit.
Vicky is an accomplished singer who has performed in nightclubs and country clubs in Kansas City, Missouri and throughout the U.S. in a number of states. She is also a public speaker and has co - hosted the CGMA International Awards Convention in Branson, Missouri and the KCCM Convention in Kansas City, Missouri.
Additionally, Vicky is an award - winning singer / songwriter. Her repertoire includes popular songs of the day, as well as music from the 30s, 40s, 50s, and beyond. Her talent flows smoothly between the Big Band era, show tunes, pop, country, jazz, Latin, and Christian genres. Vicky currently has five cds to her credit.
