I am Doc WhipLash and I have been an old time cowboy re-enacter since 1995. I have done many different events, such as, Pioneer Days, Crimewatchers Charity, Miami Heat Charity, Black Horse Reading events, Orange Blossum Parade and many other events both with and without my horse, Cherokee.
Doc WhipLash can offer a variety of entertainment. We have pony rides, hay rides, petting zoo and many props. I have a small jail that can be used for "Jail and Bail" charity events. I usually work with one assistant for my bullwhipping show but I have an entire posse and the bad guys for a really exciting shoot out show.
As a DJ I can produce a dance party with Texas Swing, Western Boogie Woogie, Western Honky Tonk, or more modern 2-Step with a mix of Cowboy Waltzes I use a 3 hour format of songs which I can design just for you.
I have a large variety of costumes that range from the old west gambler, like Doc Holliday, to a Marshall, like Wyatt Earp or just a cowboy with chaps, spurs and of course 6 shooters.
I am a trick bullwhipper and can do a show for about 30-40 minutes that includes cutting different items like newspaper. I use whips in both hands. I also do cracks with long whips again with one in each hand. Along with the bullwhipping I will shoot some blanks at balloons that always thrills the party goers.
I have now added knife and ax throwing to the show.
My horse Cherokee does not perform any tricks but is an American Quarter Horse Paint. He is of Show Horse quality and is very cooperative for photo sessions. He has beautiful bridles and saddles to accent his beauty.
Children really enjoy my shows and I can do a special show just for them. However I DO NOT DO CHILDRENS PARTIES WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION. Most of my shows will involve the use of firearms and bullwhips which can be very dangerous without proper adult supervision.
