Hi, and thanks for your time! East Wind Band is comprised largely of the original musicians who founded Sacramento's fabulous R&B/ soul/ funk- rock horn bands from the '70s. We ain't fakin' the funk 'cuz we was living it!

Beautiful lead vocals are accompanied by a hip 3-4 piece brass section and the funkiest 5-piece rhythm unit this side of Motown that'll have you & your guests up on the dance floor all night! Barbara Long (lead vocals, percussion), Buddy Davis (lead vocals, keyboard), Tim Ragan (trumpet, background vocals), Baldwin Wong (trumpet, fluegalbone, flute, background vocals), Lester Chinn (saxes, background vocals), Selwyn Jones (congas, background vocals), Glen Wada (guitar), Dave Karacozoff (keyboard, background vocals), Darrell Joe (drums, percussion), and Marty Leong (bass, background vocals) at your service.
