In January 2004, Elodia was blessed and honored to release an inspirational book titled, "Open My Eyes, Open My Soul: Celebrating Our Common Humanity", co-created with Yolanda King, daughter of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., with a foreword from Coretta Scott King.

Since the books release she has been sought out to lecture on the topic of diversity or PROversity and Health and Wellness. She has spoken in colleges, churches and the corporate world.
