Dr. Jerry Kenneth Schwehm has conducted many personalized weddings over the past 14 years, usually referrals for wedding planners. He has done wedding ceremonies in many locations, including outside locations, in chapels, parks, homes, halls, hotels, backyards, restaurants, fishing boats, sailboats, his painting studio, and in his living room. In historic old homes in New Orleans, outside in old French Quarter court yards, in a swamp, in historic Jackson Square, and in the French Market, among other fantastic places in the Greater New Orleans area.

Couples meet with him or discuss over the phone and by e-mail a wedding ceremony that contains traditional wedding vows or a special service designed by the couple with some help by Dr. Schwehm. The result is a personalized wedding ceremony, either Religious or Civil. Your ceremony can contain elements that are of special importance to the couple, their family, or traditions from jumping a broom to drinking of wine. Or they can be as simple as necessary to get the newly weds on with their new life as husband and wife.
