Carla Bray is an active freelance harpist in Los Angeles and Orange County in Southern California. Recognized as an accomplished and versatile harpist, she is known for performing in a variety of different styles and venues.
Carla has had the pleasure to work with such legendary performers as Tony Bennett, Stevie Wonder, John Williams, James Galway, Take 6, Quincy Jones, Debbie Allen, Monica Mancini, and many of Los Angeles' finest musicians.
Carla is an active studio musician, recording at such well known studios as Paramount and 20th Century Fox for various films and other projects. She appeared in a scene as a wedding harpist on the NBC-TV series "Las Vegas". She has performed with Kanye West at numerous venues, including the 2005 NFL Kickoff Concert, the "$2 Bill Concert Series" on MTV2, the "Life & Rhymes" biography show on MTV, and on the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. Carla can also be seen on the duet "For Once In My Life" sung by Tony Bennett and Stevie Wonder with full orchestra in the TV special "Tony Bennett: An American Classic" available on DVD.
Carla has provided event and party music for groups such as the Tiger Woods Foundation, Henry Mancini Institute, Long Beach Symphony Association, Women of Los Angeles, Southern Living Magazine, and the Museum of Latin American Art. She also provides wedding ceremony and reception music at locations throughout Southern California.
