A native of Detroit, Christina Tamarelli is currently pursuing a Master of Music Degree in Harp Performance from the University of Michigan. She has spent summers at the Interlochen Center for the Arts and the Pierre Monteux School in Maine. In May 2009, Christina Tamarelli won the Alice Chalifoux Prize in Harp. As well as performing, Ms. Tamarelli enjoys writing and the business side of music.

During the summer of 2009, Christina held an internship at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra in the library, development, and archives divisions. She has been published in The Harp Column Magazine.
