I have had a passion for photographs all my life. I have been documenting my life and the lives around me for as long as I can remember. It wasn't until a few years ago when I had my daughter that I decided follow my passion, realize my dreams and do what I love for a living.
I love to show people their own best angle ... and see how beautiful they truly are. I love to capture a perfect moment. Those times that may be insignificant to others but to you are treasures for a lifetime. Things that we swear we will remember but alas forget. Fleeting moments of a newborn grasping his mother's hand, the belly laughter of a little girl, the pensive gaze of an inquisitive child, the unmistakable grown-up look of a high school senior poised to pursue her dreams, an engaged couple in the very infancy of their love, or expecting parents filled with anticipation at the imminent arrival of their little miracle can be revisited again and again.
Family photography to me is a way of being here now, quite literally "celebrating here today." Cherishing in light and form those people who mean so much to us. Because what is most important in this life, I believe, are those we care about. Photographs live on and are not just for us, but for our children and their children. That is a legacy I am blessed to be part of.
My goal is to provide you a comfortable, relaxed, fun environment. More like a conversation with a friend. A toddler photo shoot may feel more like a play date. I find the more relaxed you and your family are with me, the better the result. I give you direction and we work together to capture images you will love and cherish for a lifetime. I hope that you will allow me to take a glimpse into your world for a brief moment to capture the essence of who you and your children are.
