Joel Silverman creates simple, direct images of his photographic subjects, leaving no stone unturned in the search for the perfect location or the perfect sunset. His dogged attention to detail partly derives from his years as an environmenmtal attorney and as an aide to two Georgia governors... but his passion to capture The Perfect Moment comes from his sense of responsibility and empathy for the clients' needs, and to create the best images at the right time.
Joel is loving husband and doting-father of two, and has many professional accolades including being selected by his peers as a national officer of the Advertising Photographers of America, producing numerous pro bono projects to further a number of social & ecological causes, teaching photography at The Creative Circus, and being recognized by Mayor Shirley Franklin as one of last years' ten Most Outstanding Young Atlantans.
