Weddings ~ The union of a bride and groom is one of the most memorable experiences of a lifetime, though it can be a little stressful. Our goal is to reduce your stress level while capturing wonderful memories for you to enjoy for years to come.
While we do group family and friends together for the more traditional formal shots, much focus is placed on capturing the casual and spontaneous images that tell the whole story. We don't just photograph people, we photograph love and relationships. We truly feel blessed to share in this special time of your life.
Beside wedding and portrait photography, John has worked as the still photographer for: The Discovery Channel documentary entitled "Shipwreck," and 12 full length feature films - most recently: "Tough Luck," "The Novice," "Randy and the Mob," "Doubting Thomas," "Fanboys," "The Year of Getting to Know Us," "My Father's Five Wives," "Everything Must Go," and "House of my Father."
John is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild Local 600, listed on the Industry Experience Roster, and is also a member of the Professional Photographers of America.
John shoots with professional Nikon equipment and a Jacobson Blimp. Besides numerous art / gallery exhibits and over 150 weddings, his images have appeared in national magazines such as Southern Bride, Entertainment Weekly, Southern Living, Rodale's Scuba Diving Magazine, International Dive Travel Magazine, The American Rose Annual, Location Update - a Film and Video Magazine, Mobile Bay Monthly, Registered Rep Financial Magazine, TV Guide, The Sense of it All - Magazine, and the Travel Guide for the Toronto Sun Newspaper.
