Karina Marie Diaz studied graphic communication and design at Cal Poly, as well as visual presentation at the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising. She honed her sense of composition, line and light as a stylist for fashion shows, producing a line of greeting cards for boutique stationery stores and creating window displays and visual merchandising for Macy's, Wasteland and the Gap. Additionally, past experience as a model in New York and Europe gives her a deep sense of the other side of the camera.
Past weddings have taken this in-demand photographer to The Netherland Antilles Islands, Vegas, and the Adirondacks. A New York couple even flew her and her assistant to Cairo, Egypt. (Read all about this in our April 2004 edition of "On the Scene.") This lens-diva was also whisked to Kauai and her beguiling photo spreads grace the pages of Sunset Wedding and the national edition of The Knot.
