Kimmy Jo is from Southern Illinois, and has been performing since age 13. She performs all over and is asked back time and time again.
"For as long as I can remember I wanted to be a singer, that was my dream," she says. "There was nothing else". At the age of 7, she would take her Fischer Price tape player to the river by her house and sing out over the edge of the river bank. Just A Swinging was the song.
“I am an entertainer, very energetic, when there is music I can't sit still”, says Kim. “I want the audience to leave with a smile on their face and wondering where I will be next. It's not about the traveling its not about the money its about the next show and the performance. I feel alive and inspired and have this adrenaline rush when I am on stage. It is where I can best convey my feeling and love for music."
Regardless of what the future holds for Kimmy, she will continue to live all her dreams. “I am on the right path now and I hope that it only leads to entertaining the world.”
