Laurence Elder has over 20 years of experience as a professional musician, playing everywhere from international festivals to cozy bars and nightclubs, to the most sophisticated corporate events and weddings. During this time, he has earned two music degrees, including a Master of Music in Jazz Piano from University of Miami's prestigious performing arts program.
In addition to his talents as a pianist and vocalist, he is also a seasoned bandleader and specialist in arranging music for events. Before moving to Miami in 1998, Laurence ran his own booking agency in Washington DC, with an extensive client list including CEO's, senators, top caterers and 5-star restaurants.
Now based in South Florida, Laurence works only with the area's most sought after musicians, whose collective performing credits include The Bee Gees, Barbara Streisand, Enrique Iglesias, Yanni, Tito Puente, and Ruben Blades, among many others.
In addition to his many private events, Laurence has appeared at the Deering Estate, The Biltmore Hotel, The Setai South Beach Resort, Christy's of Coral Gables, The Ocean Reef Club, and Van Dyke Café, to name a few.
