As a group, Leaf River Blues Band can rock the house by infusing sounds from the past with their front porch acoustic blues with a "kick".

We are influenced by Mississippi John Hurt, Robert Johnson, Cooper Benison, Muddy Waters, Pinetop Perkins, Mississippi Fred McDowell, Billy Holiday, Sam Carr, Son House, Sarah Vaughn, Lena Horn, Howlin Wolfe, John Lee Hooker, and of course BB King. Just to name a few of the greatest.
