We wanted to take this opportunity to introduce you to a new facility option for your consideration when planning a wide range of events in the DFW area. Life in Deep Ellum (LIDE) is a unique 24,000sf facility located adjacent to downtown Dallas at the corner of Malcolm X and Taylor Streets.
Refurbished in 2006 and opened in 2007, LIDE functions as a non-profit cultural center featuring more than 8,000sf of three distinct rental space options. These include:
* Venue -- full event space with 800sf stage and high-end sound/lighting capability and two projection screens: 5,750sf (standing capacity of 1,000)
* Gallery -- rotating art gallery space and seating area for Mokah Coffee Bar: 1,695sf
* Lounge space -- private small meeting space with full sound production and projection screen: 890sf
As a new option for your rental needs, we welcome the opportunity to have you visit us for a tour at your convenience. The building is open from 9am-4pm, Monday thru Friday. Mokah Coffee Bar, situated between the gallery and lounge spaces, opens at 7am and arrangements can be made if you need a tour before the full building opens.
As a new facility, we have set the enclosed introductory rates considerably below market value for a short time in order to introduce ourselves to event planners. We hope we can serve your needs and that you'll see the value of our facility and spread the word about our availability.
