Welcome to Longwerks Commercial Studios, Inc! Owned by Jacob and Rachel Long, a husband & wife team of professional photographers. We are both working artists in multiple mediums with degrees in photography and graphic design.
Weddings are great fun for us. We feed off of the mood and energy level of a wedding day, and we strive to capture that true emotion and energy surrounding it. We generally use a photojournalistic style so we can capture those special moments without interrupting, plus we also include a mix of group and individual portraiture throughout the day.
At Longwerks Commercial Studios our concern is quality of images. With our main influences from fine art and fashion photography we strive to give our clients images that are truly unique - not your average snapshots. We are constantly challenging ourselves to create more amazing and creative images every time we pick up the camera.
Maintaining high quality imagery also leads into our finished product. We want to provide you with high quality products, the kind of quality one would use to display work in a gallery so the images from one of the most important days of your life will withstand time and resist fading. Not only do we have two different types of albums for our couples to choose from - a fine handmade italian leather album or a modern coffee table album with each album personally designed and laid out by us - but also any prints we do are on museum quality archival papers.
Our goal is to give you images that you would be proud to hang on your walls, not only as your wedding photos, but also as art to decorate your new home together.
