Madison Hall is on the National Register of Historic Places. It enjoys non - profit status. Madison Hall is the old Madison County courthouse, whose history dates back to 1865. More than the excitement of holding your next event in a historical place, are the reasons you look for in a reception hall.
Madison Hall is a two floor reception hall. The first floor houses offices, a kitchen, and handicap elevator access. The first floor reception foyer is highlighted by twin curved staircases at either end of the entry foyer and lead up to the second floor reception area where you enter a welcoming furnished lounge. The lounge leads into a two story tall, magnificent hardwood floor ballroom, complete with balcony and stage. The room is adorned with gothic columns, tall windows, and original tinplate / ironwork ceiling. Acoustics make it ideal for an enjoyable concert. Occupancy is 400, with up to 160 for a sit - down meal.
Madison Hall is located in Central New York, next to Morrisville State College on Historic Route 20, making it easy for anyone traveling from Syracuse, Utica, Binghamton, or parts between.
In the past we've hosted concerts, craft shows, quilt shows, retirement parties, art shows, magic shows, and many children's programs. This multi - generational cultural and social center is very rate competitive. For more information, contact Bob.
