I practice a "less is more" style of portraiture. My sessions are laid-back and fun! Even the camera resistant fathers and husbands let down their guard and have a great time. (What daddy can resist their little one giving them a big hug and a kiss? A great way for a busy guy to spend some quality time with the family!)

The subjects are the entire focus of the shot. You won't see ugly canvas backgrounds or over-used props distracting from my subjects!

I have my portrait studio set up in my home and my clients absolutely love the more "personal touch" this allows me to provide. The portraits look far more natural and informal than the "stuffed shirt" assembly line pictures they've received in the past. They may have received a technically correct picture along the way yet the personalities may be missing. It's that "heart" in a photo that makes it worth looking at over and over again throughout the years!

My clients also love that they get a print of every pose captured; no choosing between poses or spending more than they bargained for. Additionally arrangements can be made for my clients to acquire a CD of their portraits with limited rights to share via e-mail with relatives and friends or for reprints cropped perfectly for normal printing size.

My talent is in capturing relaxed subjects (families & their pets) having fun together and enjoying the experience of their photographic session; the resultant portraits being a permanent reminiscence of a memorable family venture.
