MayRey is a Colorado-based designer who recently launched her collection of veils, sashes and hairpieces.

Starting with her own sisters, MayRey's goal has always been to help brides look and feel beautiful on their most memorable of days by designing and bringing to life their wedding dress and veil. She believes that the veil is a key piece of the overall look, while helping the bride reflect her own personality and style. It also serves as a precious family heirloom, which can be passed on from generation to generation, always cherishing within it a piece of that special day.

She first studied design and patternmaking. Wanting to further explore all aspects of her craft, she went on to study under a private tailor, who helped her understand the importance of fit as well as quality. Along the way, under the sweet tutelage of her dear mother, she also learned to appreciate the value of a well made garment.

Her many years of experience working in different bridal shops and also having owned a private custom bridal shop have taught her to work with beautiful materials and express her creativity. Yet she never loses sight of a bride's own essence.
