On your wedding day I adopt an editorial style. I'm diligent to make sure I capture the details that make your day so special without getting in the way of any of it. I feel my job is to be part of the background, so you and your guests hardly notice I'm there. But all the while I'll be catching those nervous giggles, the sighs of relief, the tears of joy and the shouts of celebration. I'll be there for it all, beginning to end to be sure you have a visual memory of the whole day.
Details
When you contact me about being your photographer, we will schedule a meeting time to get to know each other a little better and talk about your expectations for the day. I'll show you samples of my work, albums, prints, and other special products so that you can get a feel for my style and the quality I'll be offering you. We'll talk in depth about how your day will go, what special details you are adding, and what I can do to be sure to capture all the most important events. We will also meet about two-weeks before your wedding to finalize all the details.
Your wedding package includes an engagement portrait session. This gives us another opportunity to become very comfortable with each other (after all you'll see me more on your wedding day than anyone else!) We'll pick a location (or locations) that you and your honey love, someplace where you can be yourselves and get comfortable. Many couples like parks, urban downtowns or beaches for their location. I'll work with you to find the perfect spot. From this session, I will give you a large, matted print that you can use as a guest sign-in at the reception.
