Michael Compean has 15 years of experience as a chef and pastry artisan. He began cooking as an adolescent and by age 20 he new cooking was his passion. Working at several exclusive restaurants and hotels in Southern California he developed a diversity of skills. He was Chef du Partie at Lau Berge resort in Del Mar California, pastry chef at the acclaimed Bertrand at Mr. A's in San Diego.
Just before starting Michael C. Events he was chef du cuisine at the historic Sunset Towers Hotel in Hollywood. Chef Compean has competed in numerous cooking events and competitions nationwide, including America's best pastry chefs at The Patis France.
