The original Mosaic Cafe & Catering opened in 1994 with the mission to effectively nourish body and soul while preserving the highest level of quality and value. We quickly established a successful presence in the Richmond, Virginia restaurant community and just four years ago, added a sister location in Charleston, South Carolina.
The open kitchen and upscale atmosphere of eclectic California/Mediterranean is designed to provide healthy fare in a quick-casual environment. All aspects of the business are carefully selected to work in harmony. The result, we believe, is a premium dining experience for all of our customers.
Our commitment to quality, consistency and value has created a strong foundation for growth and has facilitated our exciting expansion in recent years. In 2006 we added our first off-site event production facility in Richmond, specifically designed to warehouse and maintain our growing inventory of event decor, rental equipment, china, glassware and linens. With the introduction of Mosaic Unique Events in 2007, our special event staff became independent for the first time in our history.
As a mosaic customer, u can still enjoy the catering services that we offer routinely in all locations, but now any specialty catering that falls outside of the standard cater menu becomes a Mosaic "Unique" event. As we like to say, any event Mosaic does for you is a "Unique" event.
