Oakhurst Hill at the Historic Scottish Rite Hospital is a picturesque setting for corporate meetings, charitable events, weddings, receptions, and rehearsal dinners. We offer a unique space in an historic setting with a professional staff. The light filled building was designed by Neel Reid in 1919 and is nestled in the center of the tiny village of Oakhurst.
Just 5 minutes from downtown Atlanta, we have built a restaurant and art gallery inside the glass front original children's hospital, which features exposed architectural trusses, antique furnishings and the original hardwood floors. Our space combines the class of an art gallery with the convenience of onsite catering inside a full restaurant. This is the perfect opportunity to impress your boss and clients with a unique but effective networking or education for increasing business opportunities.
Have your wedding ceremony on our garden patio with the roses in full bloom, or just the reception in a warm and comfortable furnished atmosphere. You will have one point of contact from beginning to end who will provide for all your needs. Simple packages are available with minimal planning responsibilities for the renter. We offer hand picked wines, boutique spirits, and fresh food, some of which comes from our own attached organic garden.
Our accommodating staff is experienced at making your guests feel at home. Capacity is 100 inside/160 inside with outside back patio. Seated capacity is 60 inside only and 110 inside with outside back patio. For weddings we can also utilize the front lawn and steps in the center of the old hospital. Plentiful parking onsite includes over 100 spaces in our rear parking lot. We are a great value, especially when compared to nearby rental facilities in Atlanta. We invite you to celebrate in our space, mingling with your guests, and admiring the artwork without any concerns about the responsibilities of hosting an event.
